Component project 2 (Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway project) is 53% complete.

On October 9, Mr. Tran Van Dung, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, and the province's working delegation came to inspect the progress of Component Project 2 (part of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Construction Project, Phase 1).

Component project 2 (Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Project Phase 1) is about 53% complete.

At the inspection session, the Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to increase human resources and equipment to speed up the construction progress of the entire route, especially at the intersection with Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway; Specifically assess the progress of each item, proactively develop a detailed construction plan, and determine a clear timeline to ensure overall progress and technical quality.

The Dong Thap Province Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board reviews and compiles reports to the province on the needs and locations for investment in residential roads. At the same time, coordinates with relevant units to determine construction techniques to speed up progress at locations with land clearance problems.

Component Project 2 (part of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Construction Project Phase 1) has a length of about 11.45km, starting at the intersection with Component Project 1 at Km16+000; ending at the intersection with Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway at approximately Km98+950. The project implementation period is from 2022 to 2027.

The project has a total investment of more than 3,850 billion VND, to date, the construction value has been completed by more than 53%, with the People's Committee of Dong Thap province as the managing agency. Currently, the project is still stuck with land clearance, and needs to relocate 2 medium voltage power lines.
