Ngo Quyen Ward (Hai Phong) plans to organize compulsory land recovery for 26 households on October 17, 2025 within the scope of the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward has just established 4 working groups to propagate and mobilize the remaining 26 households in the two apartment buildings at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai to accept compensation and support money, and hand over the site to serve the construction of Nguyen Trai Bridge.

Of which, 1 working group is responsible for propagating and mobilizing 6 households at the 2-storey apartment building at 6 Nguyen Trai. The remaining 3 working groups propagating and mobilizing 20 households at the 3-storey apartment building at 8 May To. Implementation time is from October 7 to 15, 2025.

According to the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward, the land acquisition of two apartment buildings at No. 8 May To and No. ⁶ Nguyen Trai with an area of ​​over 760 square meters to serve the construction of the Nguyen Trai Bridge Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area involves 35 households.

Through propaganda and mobilization, as of early September 2025, 9 households received money and handed over the land, while 26 households did not agree. The delay in handing over the land directly affected the construction progress of Nguyen Trai Bridge.

At the progress inspection on September 13, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested that in October, Ngo Quyen ward must complete site clearance for the remaining area of ​​the two above-mentioned apartment buildings to ensure construction progress.

Following the city's direction, Ngo Quyen Ward plans to organize compulsory land recovery for the above 26 households on October 17, 2025 if the households still deliberately refuse to hand over the land. From now until October 17, the ward's working groups will continue to propagate and mobilize households to hand over the land.
