Investing 565.2 billion VND to build a different level intersection on Nguyen Trai - Le Hong Phong road

The Nguyen Trai - Le Hong Phong six-way intersection project is part of the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and Urban Redevelopment of the surrounding area.

Perspective of the grade-separated intersection at the intersection of Nguyen Trai and Le Hong Phong streets

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan has just signed a decision approving the adjustment of Component Project 1: construction of works under the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area.

Component 1 project adds a grade-separated intersection at the intersection of Nguyen Trai and Le Hong Phong streets with a tunnel directly connecting to Nguyen Trai and Le Hong Phong streets; widens the road surface on both sides of the tunnel and organizes traffic at the same level in the form of a 40m diameter roundabout. The road branches leading to the intersection are connected according to the current status.

Specifically, the underpass construction in the direction of Nguyen Trai - Le Hong Phong street has a total length of 340 m. The tunnel cross-section is arranged in accordance with the cross-section of Nguyen Trai bridge to ensure 6 lanes. Complete construction of technical infrastructure items in the intersection: pumping station system, drainage, lighting, trees, traffic safety system...

The project is implemented in Ngo Quyen and Gia Vien wards, using nearly 5 hectares of land. The total investment for the intersection is 565.2 billion VND.

With this adjustment, the total investment of Component Project 1: construction of works under the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area increased to 4,981.4 billion VND. The intersection is expected to be completed and put into operation when Nguyen Trai Bridge is officially opened to traffic.
