
On the morning of October 23rd, the Land Reclamation Enforcement Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward held a meeting to implement the plan for enforcing land reclamation against the remaining 25 households in the residential areas at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai that have not yet handed over the land for the Nguyen Trai Bridge construction and urban beautification project in the surrounding area.
Previously, on October 22nd, the Land Reclamation Enforcement Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward continued to hold dialogues and persuade residents to hand over the land for the final time with the 26 households mentioned above. By the morning of October 23rd, one more household had agreed to hand over the land, while 25 households still had not handed over the land for the project.

According to the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward, the apartment complex at No. 8 May To and No. 6 Nguyen Trai Street, whose land is being reclaimed for the project, covers an area of nearly 760 square meters . After numerous attempts at persuasion and negotiation, as of October 22nd, 9 households had received compensation and handed over the land, while 26 households had not yet agreed.
At the meeting, the Land Reclamation Enforcement Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward agreed on the expected time for the forced land reclamation of the aforementioned households on the morning of October 24th. They also assigned tasks, agreed on a plan for moving people and property out of the area, and discussed measures to ensure security and safety before, during, and after the enforcement.

From now until the time of the forced eviction, the Ngo Quyen Ward Land Reclamation Enforcement Committee will continue to disseminate information and persuade households to agree to hand over the land.
