On the afternoon of October 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city held a conference to collect comments on the draft Decision of the City People's Committee promulgating regulations on the management of the system of trees, parks, flower gardens, and urban public green areas in Hai Phong city.

At the conference, a representative of the Department of Construction (the drafting agency) presented the draft Decision of the City People's Committee promulgating regulations on the management of the system of trees, parks, flower gardens, and urban public green areas in Hai Phong city.

Most opinions agree on the objectives, necessity and appropriateness of issuing regulations on management of green tree systems, parks, flower gardens, and urban public green areas in Hai Phong city. The opposing opinions focus on analyzing a number of contents such as: scientific and reasonable arrangement in order of cited documents, need to clarify the connotation of the concept of "urban public green areas" and related factors, specifically assess the impact and effectiveness of the decision on politics , economy and society in ensuring harmony of interests of the State, people and organizations.

Many opinions affirmed the need to supplement and clarify the functions and roles of supervision and criticism of agencies such as the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, socio-political organizations of the city, People's Councils at all levels... into the draft, as well as determine the responsibility of participation and management of functional agencies.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Dang Van Hach, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, affirmed that the promulgation of regulations on management of the system of trees, parks, flower gardens, and urban public green areas in the city is of great significance in building a civilized, green, clean, beautiful and sustainable urban area. The regulations aim to concretize the city's policies and guidelines on environmental protection, green space development, contributing to improving the quality of life of the people. Thereby, unified management helps ensure urban aesthetics, create ecological landscapes, contribute to responding to climate change, and promote sustainable urban development.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city synthesizes the opinions of the delegates speaking at the conference and sends them to relevant units. At the same time, it requests the Department of Construction (the drafting agency) to absorb all opinions, continue to edit, supplement, and complete the draft Decision on promulgating regulations on management of green tree systems, parks, flower gardens, and urban public green areas in Hai Phong city to submit to the City People's Committee, ensuring compliance with regulations.
