Samsung Vietnam appoints Vietnamese senior leader at manufacturing entity

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang is the first Vietnamese to be appointed as Deputy General Director of Samsung's manufacturing entity in Vietnam.

On December 1, Samsung Vietnam announced the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang to the senior leadership (Deputy General Director) of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Company Limited (SEVT).

This is not only the first Vietnamese person to be appointed as Deputy General Director at Samsung's manufacturing entity in Vietnam, but also the first local person to hold the position of Deputy General Director at Samsung Electronics' smartphone manufacturing entity globally.

With outstanding professional background, organizational management ability and excellent strategic vision, Deputy General Director Nguyen Hoang Giang has had many great achievements in improving processes, quality standards and enhancing operational efficiency.

In the coming time, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang will take on an important role in the activities of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV) and Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. (SEVT).

Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam emphasized: "I am extremely pleased that for the first time, a Vietnamese person has been appointed as Deputy General Director of Samsung Electronics' global smartphone manufacturing entity. This is a testament to the importance and excellence of human resources of the manufacturing entity in Vietnam."

Mr. Na Ki Hong also said: “Over the past 30 years, thanks to the support of the Vietnamese Government and people, Samsung has developed into the largest foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprise in Vietnam. We will continue to make efforts to contribute to economic development and talent development activities in Vietnam"./.
