Quang Tri voters propose to issue a reasonable land price framework to remove difficulties in accessing housing.

On October 1, at the TXCT sessions of Dong Ha and Quang Tri wards, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province recorded many important recommendations from voters, focusing on land prices, housing access, infrastructure development and improving policies for vulnerable groups.

The Quang Tri Province National Assembly Delegation, including Mr. Ha Sy Dong and Ms. Ho Thi Minh, had a meeting before the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Voters expressed their concern about urgent socio -economic issues and made practical recommendations.

At the meeting, one of the top concerns of voters was the difficulty in accessing land and housing. Voters of Dong Ha ward especially emphasized the need to consider adjusting and promulgating a reasonable land price framework, because voters said that the current land price for subdivision and sale is too high, causing great difficulties for people with real needs. At the same time, it is recommended that all levels and sectors need to develop measures to stabilize the real estate market and ensure people's access to land.

Voters of Dong Ha ward especially emphasized the need to review, adjust and promulgate a reasonable land price framework.

In addition, voters also proposed to soon convert the land use purpose of vacant headquarters to serve the common development purpose of the locality, contributing to solving the need for residential land and production land.

Mr. Pham Van Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Ha ward, Quang Tri province, explained some petitions of voters at the meeting with the National Assembly Delegation of the province.

Voters of Quang Tri ward raised important recommendations on improving policies for vulnerable groups. Pay more attention to the elderly, war invalids, people with revolutionary contributions, and people with disabilities.

Voters of Quang Tri ward request all levels and sectors to pay attention to improving policies and regimes for disadvantaged groups.

Recommend timely and effective support for farmers affected by epidemics and natural disasters, helping them overcome the consequences, stabilize production and life; arrange suitable jobs and remuneration for grassroots cadres who directly serve the people.

Voters of Quang Tri ward also proposed to soon invest funds to complete the embankment, an important infrastructure project, ensuring safety for people's travel and daily activities, especially in the context of possible natural disasters.

National Assembly Delegate Ha Sy Dong received voters' recommendations at the meeting of the People's Council of Quang Tri and Dong Ha wards, Quang Tri province on October 1.

The delegates acknowledged and pledged to fully synthesize the opinions and recommendations of voters to send to the 15th National Assembly and competent authorities for consideration and resolution.
