Voters of Tu Ky town request early completion of construction of bypass road 391

Voters of Tu Ky town made many recommendations on traffic, environment and urban development issues.

On the morning of November 26, the delegation of the 17th Provincial People's Council and the delegation of the Tu Ky District People's Council met with district voters before the year-end meeting of the Provincial People's Council in 2024.

Voters of Tu Ky town reported that the road from Tu Ky town intersection through the town's Primary School to Cho bridge (Chi Minh commune) is deteriorating, posing a risk to traffic safety. They requested that all levels and sectors pay attention to upgrading and renovating, and paving the sidewalks on both sides to ensure safety.

Voters also requested to soon complete the construction of the bypass of Provincial Road 391 for convenient travel for people.

Responding to voters' opinions, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Sam, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Tu Ky District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, representative of the Provincial People's Council Delegation, said that the district will consider including the upgrading and renovation of the road from Tu Ky town intersection to Cho bridge in the public investment plan based on the development plan of Tu Ky town.

The construction of Provincial Road 391 bypass is one of the province's important traffic projects being implemented in the district to solve the overload situation, ensure traffic safety on the route, and at the same time expand the urban development space of Tu Ky town. By March 2024, the district had handed over the entire cleared site to the investor to implement the project on schedule. The construction unit is actively implementing the project.

At the meeting, voters also raised many opinions on handling environmental pollution issues, speeding up the construction of roads to the concentrated aquaculture area in Tan Quang village (Quang Khai commune), supporting operating costs for the People's Inspectorate at the commune level...

Voters have received answers and clarifications from the Provincial People's Council Delegation. Opinions under the authority of higher levels have been compiled and reflected at the upcoming meeting.
