On the afternoon of October 30th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony at its headquarters to announce the decision on personnel transfers and appointments. Along with presenting the appointment decision for People's Artist Xuan Bac as Director of the Performing Arts Department, the Ministry's leadership also transferred and reassigned personnel under the Party Committee's management for 2024.

Mr. Dang Tran Cuong holds the position of Director of the Department of Cinematography.

Accordingly, Mr. Dang Tran Cuong has been appointed Director of the Department of Cinema, replacing Mr. Vi Kien Thanh who has reached retirement age. Prior to being entrusted with the responsibility of leading the film industry, Mr. Dang Tran Cuong was the Director of the Vietnam Center for Cinema, Sports and Tourism.

Ms. Thu Ha has been transferred to the Training Department.
