As a biochemistry graduate from the University of Science (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), Mr. Tran Van Tu (CEO of Mediexpress Vietnam Technology Joint Stock Company) says he is passionate about the healthcare field and has tried his hand at various positions at leading healthcare companies and corporations both domestically and internationally.

During that time, he was constantly preoccupied with the thought of how to bring advanced medical solutions and technologies to contribute to the country's healthcare system. Mediexpress Vietnam was established in December 2020 with the slogan "Modern healthcare, quality life," right when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out.

As a manufacturing and trading company, this start-up's prominent business lines include orthopedics and musculoskeletal disorders; laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging; kiosks, cabins, and home kits for telemedicine; and personal and family healthcare devices such as blood pressure monitors and sensor thermometers.

In terms of production, the company has a manufacturing plant equipped with production lines and technology from Europe, in collaboration with the Stem Cell Institute ( thuộc Ho Chi Minh City National University).

The company, which manufactures treatment kits for osteoarthritis and ligament injuries, is a strategic partner with foreign factories, transferring technology and building factories in Vietnam, distributing products to the domestic and Southeast Asian markets.

We aim to be pioneers in healthcare solutions.

After the pandemic, the company gradually stabilized its operations, although it still faced difficulties and obstacles as a young enterprise. Pursuing technology and healthcare solutions for the community, Mediexpress's strengths lie in its high-quality products, superior technology, and diverse distribution system. In particular, its pricing strategy caters to all consumer healthcare needs.

But because they started later and entered the healthcare sector, they chose to be persistent and proactive, aiming for the overall development of the country's healthcare system.

But Mediexpress doesn't hide its ambition to become a leader in the field of telemedicine, ready to train and transfer technology for a more developed Vietnamese healthcare system.

Specifically, Mediexpress Vietnam aims to be among the top 10 brands in the production and trading of healthcare technology and solutions in Southeast Asia during the 2025-2030 period.

Sharing with the community, the company is partnering with the Vinh Long Department of Health to implement the project "Improving the quality of healthcare for the people - Screening for cardiovascular diseases and warning about stroke".

In addition, funding was provided for training courses organized by the Thanh Hoa Department of Health as part of a series of activities aimed at improving the quality of community health services in Vietnam.

At the same time, they donated medical equipment worth 360 million VND to the "Pink Holiday" campaign and summer volunteer activities in Laos in 2024, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

The Youth Start-up Award 2024 will honor the 20 most outstanding startups.

The Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024 is organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, in collaboration with the Business Support Center for Young Entrepreneurs (BSSC) and the Packaging Recycling Alliance of Vietnam (PRO Vietnam).

The judging panel will interact and connect with startups through a special Coffee Talk judging format. Promising startups will be honored at a gala scheduled for November 2024.

Startup projects participating in the program have the opportunity to access various investment funds as well as receive media coverage and promotion to the community.
