Showing care and concern for the poor.

The report summarizing the first six months of 2025 by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee clearly states: From the beginning of the year until now, the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in the province have effectively performed their political functions and tasks, with many innovations in content and diverse methods of operation. At the same time, they have paid attention to effectively carrying out the work of providing feedback, supervision, and social criticism, understanding the situation of the people, and participating in resolving emerging and prominent issues in society and among the people. Patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns, such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods," "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh," and activities caring for the poor and social security... have developed extensively and received the support of the people.

Ms. Le Thi Hoang Oanh, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Song Cau Town, said: Implementing the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - no one left behind," the Fatherland Front Committee of the town and its communes and wards have coordinated to review the target groups needing care and support in the area. Accordingly, currently the entire town has 1,930 poor and near-poor households and 895 other cases that receive regular care and support. From the beginning of the year until now, the Fatherland Front at all levels, in coordination with local departments, organizations, and benefactors, has mobilized the community, businesses, and philanthropists to give 6,289 gifts with a total value of over 2.5 billion VND to poor and near-poor households and households with particularly difficult circumstances during holidays and Tet; and given 1,110 gifts to poor union members, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, orphans, and children with severe disabilities... with a total value of over 546 million VND.

Caring for poor and near-poor households and those in difficult circumstances is a regular and important activity of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, aimed at helping the poor overcome difficulties, improve their lives, and at the same time demonstrating the spirit of mutual support and responsibility of the community to work together for the poor - leaving no one behind.

In fulfilling this task, in the first six months of 2025, the entire province mobilized over 67.84 billion VND for the Fund for the Poor at all levels, exceeding the target by over 545%. From the funds managed and mobilized by the Fatherland Front committees at all levels, the Fatherland Front organized visits and presented 95,484 gifts to poor and near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances throughout the province, with a total value of over 38.1 billion VND. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also disbursed 9.24 billion VND to support 462 households, with a support level of 20 million VND/household, to implement economic development models in the localities of Son Hoa, Dong Xuan, Tuy An, Tay Hoa, Song Cau, Dong Hoa, Phu Hoa, Song Hinh and the Provincial Farmers' Association.

In particular, implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025, the entire province has completed this humane program with 2,235 houses built. Of these, 1,448 were newly built and 787 were repaired. This is vivid evidence of the solidarity, sharing, responsibility, and determination of the entire political system in caring for the people's lives, strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the State.

Building consensus to implement major policies.

Over the past period, from the central to local levels, there has been a shared will and determination to streamline the organizational structure, reorganize administrative units at all levels, and build a two-tiered model of local government. To contribute to the effective implementation of this policy, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has focused on conveying political messages, mobilizing public awareness, and organizing activities to support the government in implementing policies and guidelines.

From July 1, 2025, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will operate smoothly under the new model. “Immediately after operating under the new organizational model, the Fatherland Front Committee, political and social organizations, and mass associations assigned tasks by the Party and State will closely adhere to their functions and duties to synchronously implement activities, paying attention to better performing the functions of social supervision and criticism, contributing to Party building, and acting as a solid bridge in the close relationship of ‘the Party for the people, the people trust the Party.’ They will diversify forms of propaganda and mobilization; strengthen the understanding of the people's situation and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of people of all ethnic groups and religions; and promote the role of exemplary individuals, influential people, and key figures in the community, ethnic groups, and religions in mobilizing the building of national unity. Through this, they will create social consensus to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, and those of the province and each locality,” suggested Comrade Tran Huu The, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
