Located at opposite ends of the island, the road connecting the two island communes of Minh Chau and Quan Lan is a famous scenic route, boasting stunning and romantic landscapes, and acting as a giant "air conditioner" to alleviate the oppressive heat of the island. A trip along this route is an essential part of the island's itinerary for visitors. From this route, tourists can stop and visit many scenic spots and destinations in both Minh Chau and Quan Lan.

According to the leaders of Minh Chau and Quan Lan communes, after the road was completed, starting in 2015, Quan Lan commune began planting approximately 15,000 casuarina trees. Minh Chau commune also planted more than 10,000 trees. The densely planted casuarina trees not only create a beautiful landscape but also act as windbreaks and sand barriers, protecting the island commune from storms.

After a long period of care, the casuarina trees have grown lush and tall, creating a beautiful tourist landscape for the island. The road, approximately 15km long, connects the bustling Quan Lan island commune's tourist center with Minh Chau beach, considered the most beautiful beach in Northern Vietnam.

Amidst the scorching sun on the island, perhaps nothing is more enjoyable than riding an electric vehicle or motorbike under towering green trees. The route runs through villages with many scenic views, such as Thai Hoa and Son Hao (Quan Lan commune) and Nam Hai and Quang Trung villages (Minh Chau commune).

Therefore, while experiencing and strolling along the route, you can simply step out of the car and visit famous destinations, taking beautiful photos as souvenirs, such as: Infinity Hill, Son Hao beach, the white sand dunes in Ninh Hai village, a favorite "check-in" spot for couples... Or you can also participate in the Minh Chau - Quan Lan community tourism tour to visit scenic spots and historical relics, explore the beautiful Eo Gió, and see the cluster of temples, pagodas, shrines, and other historical sites on Quan Lan island.

“We really enjoy strolling along this route, enjoying the fresh air in the early morning or late afternoon. Riding bicycles, motorbikes, or electric scooters, feeling the breeze while admiring the towering casuarina trees reaching towards the blue sky, letting our minds wander each crisp morning – it’s wonderful,” shared Ms. Nguyen Nguyet Anh, a tourist from Dong Anh district, Hanoi .
