In recent years, Vietnamese tourists' interest in Moscow has steadily increased. By 2025, Moscow is expected to welcome approximately 42,000 Vietnamese visitors, up from 36,100 in 2024.

Travel is becoming increasingly convenient as Vietnamese citizens can apply for an electronic visa to Russia, and approximately 25 direct flights per week connect Moscow with cities in Vietnam.

Moscow is a prominent summer destination for international culture and arts.

Today, Moscow offers visitors a blend of history, culture, green spaces, and modern urban life.

Famous landmarks like Red Square and St. Basil's Cathedral remain familiar stops, but the city now also boasts many contemporary cultural spaces and new creative districts.

Visitors can explore Zaryadye Park with its futuristic landscape design and views of the Kremlin, or visit Red October – the legendary chocolate factory renovated into a riverside complex with restaurants, bars, and creative studios.

Another new destination is Moskino Cinema Park – a large-scale cinematic experience complex featuring simulated film sets and interactive spaces inspired by film and television.

The spirit of blending tradition and modernity is also reflected in large-scale cultural exchange events held right in the heart of the city.

One prominent example is the Vietnamese Cultural Festival with the theme "Vietnam - Tropical Colors," taking place in the summer of 2025 as part of the "Summer in Moscow" project. The festival attracted nearly 1 million visitors with over 100 cultural activities, including art performances, traditional theater, and Vietnamese martial arts demonstrations.

In particular, the art of water puppetry has become one of the highlights that is loved by many tourists.

In addition to artistic activities, summer in Moscow is also associated with a festive atmosphere that permeates the entire city.

Moscow recently officially launched the third season of its "Summer in Moscow" project, with over 500 participating locations across the city. This year's theme is "It's Time to Be Together," focusing on cultural, educational , sporting, and lifestyle activities.

The program includes outdoor concerts, stage performances, film screenings, workshops, tours, and major festivals such as “Theatre Boulevard,” “Times and Epochs,” and “Moscow Estates.” Last summer alone, the project organized over 122,000 cultural and entertainment events with a total of 64 million visitors.

One of the unique things about Moscow in the summer is that visitors don't need to actively search for events. Simply strolling through parks, squares, boulevards, or riverside areas, they can discover outdoor stages, art exhibitions, workshops, and summer activities happening all over the city.

Alongside the development of tourism , cultural exchanges and professional cooperation between Moscow and Vietnam are also becoming increasingly vibrant.

With its blend of festivals, art, culture, and modern life, Moscow is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for Vietnamese tourists this summer.
