The "Understanding Digital Transformation in Dong Thap Province" competition in 2026 is being actively implemented by departments, agencies, and localities under the direction of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee.
The aim is to disseminate information and raise awareness among citizens and businesses about the meaning and importance of digital transformation. This includes emphasizing the effectiveness of using online public services, such as saving time and travel costs, facilitating convenience for organizations and individuals, and contributing to increased transparency in administrative procedures.
At the same time, the competition will help individuals and organizations reduce information poverty, understand the value of applying information technology in real life (such as using the DongThapG application, electronic identity accounts, etc.); and equip them with knowledge to prevent attacks and scams in the digital environment.

The competition focuses on questions aimed at understanding the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and issues related to digital transformation, digital data, the digital economy , the digital society, online public services, and ensuring information security in the digital environment.
Candidates answer directly on the software at thitructuyen.dongthap.gov.vn or on the e-DongThap, DongThapG applications in the form of online multiple-choice questions within a specified time frame.
The test results are automatically graded by the software and displayed immediately after the candidate completes the test, including the number of correct answers and the time taken to complete the test.
The competition was held in two rounds: the qualifying round - an online test, selecting the 200 contestants with the highest scores; and the final round - the 200 contestants with the highest scores from the qualifying round participated in a centralized online test under the supervision of the Organizing Committee.
According to the plan of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, the Organizing Committee, the Judging Panel, and the Support Team will be established in June 2026; the question bank and online testing software will be completed in July-August; the qualifying rounds will be held in September-October; and the final round and closing conference with awards will be held in November 2026.
The People's Committee of Dong Thap province requires that the content of the competition be practical, contributing to the formation of a vibrant movement in learning, researching, and understanding digital transformation, online public services, e-commerce, cashless payments, Project 06, digital data, digital economy, digital society, etc.; and raising awareness about ensuring information security in cyberspace.
The People's Committees of communes and wards must develop implementation plans at the local level, launch the competition to inform agencies and units in the area, and encourage all officials, civil servants, and citizens to participate.
The Provincial People's Committee requests that Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio and Television carry out publicity work for the competition through mass media; coordinate with relevant agencies and units to promptly update and widely disseminate information about the schedule of the competition rounds, from the qualifying round to the final round, in order to attract the participation of a large number of officials, civil servants, and citizens.
