By leveraging and developing its natural advantages and rich historical and cultural traditions to diversify tourism types, Thanh Hoa is increasingly attracting tourists to its scenic spots for sightseeing, experiences, and recreation during year-round festivals.

And as the story of seasonal tourism and the painstaking process of building a brand gradually faded into the past, the emergence of a series of high-class products and projects, likened to a "transformation in keeping with the times," quickly propelled Thanh Hoa into a leading destination in the North Central region.

A transformation in line with the times.

Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Thanh Hoa, visited and worked at Hi-KING LAKE Resort during its final stages of completion.

According to a report by the Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the province's tourism industry continues to maintain its strong recovery and development momentum. In 2023, Thanh Hoa welcomed over 12.48 million visitors, achieving 104% of the plan; total tourism revenue reached 24,505 billion VND, achieving 101.3% of the 2023 plan. With these results, Thanh Hoa is one of the top three localities attracting a large number of tourists nationwide, second only to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Contributing to the development of tourism in Thanh Hoa province, especially during the next 1-2 years of boom, is the role of complete resort complexes. Besides the Sam Son Beach Square project complex and the resort complex in Quang Xuong, the Hi-KING LAKE Resort in Tho Lam commune, Tho Xuan district, with a total investment of up to 1,400 billion VND by a large corporation from the South, is also considered a spectacular rise.

From the Thanh Hoa family's historical records...

To this day, locals still传说 that King Le's Lake, also known as Thanh Hoa Pond or Long On Pond, was the name of the place where the king bathed.

According to historical documents, in 1428, Le Loi ascended the throne as Emperor (Le Thai To), establishing the Later Le Dynasty, with the capital in Thang Long, ushering in a new period of development for the Dai Viet nation. In 1430, Le Thai To renamed the Lam Son area to Lam Kinh. From then on, palaces, temples, and other structures began to be built there, serving two main functions.

The resort is built on "thang moc" land, a concept in Vietnamese history used to refer to a place with auspicious energy. Additionally, "thang moc" is understood as the place where the king bathed to purify himself before offering sacrifices to heaven and earth and worshipping his ancestors.

Hi_KING LAKE Resort welcomes visitors to experience hot spring bathing and meditation culture throughout all four seasons of the year.

In the past, this place had hot springs originating from streams of water with temperatures of 26-27 degrees Celsius flowing from an island in the middle of the lake. Centuries ago, this area was a vast, tranquil forest of cypress trees stretching all the way to Lam Kinh. The picturesque scenery, with its lake and springs, was a place where the Le Kings often came to enjoy the scenery and cleanse themselves after their royal journeys before returning to the capital for worship.

Inheriting the cultural and historical values of unique legends and situated near the Lam Kinh National Special Historical Site, Hi-King Lake Resort & Spa has been intrinsically linked to the project's vision since its initial positioning by the investor.

Hi King Lake! A respectful, civilized, and hospitable invitation, a masterpiece of architecture by Sao Mai Group that embodies the essence of legends while showcasing the class, dedication, and mission of the "citizens" of this land of two dynasties.

The Hi-KING LAKE Resort project complexes contribute to upgrading tourism in Thanh Hoa.

Spanning nearly 54 hectares, the resort complex is designed in the style of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon (605-562 BC), dating back millennia. Located on National Highway 47C (formerly Provincial Road 506), it serves as a connecting point between Tho Xuan International Airport and the Lam Kinh National Special Historical Site. This strategic location promises to make the resort a focal point on the East-West tourism axis connecting the city center.

With the completion of the 34-meter-wide boulevard connecting Ring Road 3 to the Western Ring Road of Thanh Hoa City, creating a key transportation artery linking the location with air, water, and land transport routes, King Lake Resort & Spa will have the opportunity to welcome a full stream of tourists seeking recreation, relaxation, and year-round experiences, along with extended stays.

Anticipating the strong resurgence of tourism in the Ai Chau region, once this resort complex becomes operational on the momentous date of April 30, 2024, tourism activities will be fully exploited, attracting an increasing number of tourists and promising to significantly boost the overall economic value of the region.
