(GLO) - In the weekend trading session on March 14th, domestic gold prices continued to fall by another 2.2 million VND/ounce after a 1 million VND drop yesterday.

Specifically, domestic gold, silver, and gemstone businesses such as SJC, DOJI , PNJ, Bao Tin Minh Chau, and Phu Quy are trading gold bars at 179.6-182.6 million VND/ounce (buy-sell), with a difference of 3 million VND. Mi Hong is buying at a higher price than the general market average, at 180.6 million VND/ounce.

Gold ring prices continued to fall this morning. Phu Quy is currently trading at 177.5-181.5 million VND/ounce; SJC is priced at 179.3-182.3 million VND/ounce; Bao Tin Minh Chau is priced at 177.6-181.6 million VND/ounce; DOJI and PNJ are trading at 179.6-182.6 million VND/ounce.

On the global gold market, the spot gold price today is $5,129.3 per ounce. Overall, the global gold price has decreased by 1.2% in the last 24 hours, equivalent to a drop of $60.7 per ounce.

With domestic gold bar prices remaining high and world gold prices listed on Kitco at $5,129.3 USD/ounce (equivalent to approximately VND 163.3 million/ounce at Vietcombank exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees), the difference between domestic and world gold prices is approximately VND 19.3 million/ounce.
