After receiving reports and requests to receive animals from two authorities in Binh Dinh and Quang Tri provinces, the SVW rapid response team quickly set off to the rescue sites to care for and receive the animals.
In Binh Dinh, the baby pangolin died before the rescue team arrived due to premature birth and exhaustion. The two remaining pangolins were emaciated, dehydrated, and had several wounds on their tails and under their scales. These two individuals have been taken to the rescue center for medical care.
