Dalat: Classical Piano and Violin Music Night at Pho Ben Doi

This is a free classical concert program for the community organized periodically throughout the year by Pho Ben Doi Creative Arts Space in a series of activities contributing to the Creative Music City of Da Lat.

Performing in the concert were two young musical talents, Loc Anh (Violinist/Pianist), 15 years old, and Thien Sang (Pianist), 10 years old; Thien Sang is from Da Lat, and Loc Anh is from Ho Chi Minh City. Both of them pursued art from a very young age, performed in many places in the country and internationally, and both won many prestigious awards.

As for Loc Anh, he is currently a 10th grader but has learned to play the Piano since he was 7 years old and the Violin since he was 9 years old. Up to now, Loc Anh has played both instruments proficiently.

In March 2024, Loc Anh won the Encouragement Prize at the GIPC International Piano Competition in Hilversum (Netherlands); in July 2024, Loc Anh won the Golden Prize at the AIPAF International Piano Competition in Seoul (Korea); in August 2024, won the Silver Award in Group C of the non-professional group at the SIU International Piano Competition of Saigon International University.

In March 2025, Loc Anh won the First Prize of the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition 5th Online Edition - La Nucia (Spain). In April 2025, she was a Violinist in Group 1 of the Symphony Orchestra of French High Schools around the world and performed at the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian Theater in Lisbon (Portugal).

Within the framework of the International Piano Festival in Saint Gallen (Switzerland), Loc Anh participated in a piano performance at the Tonhalle Saint Gallen (Switzerland). Loc Anh is currently the leader of the Violin 1 group of the HCMC Youth Orchestra.

Both young artists Loc Anh and Thien Sang were warmly welcomed by the audience during the performance.

In particular, in January 2025, Loc Anh met and learned from the world's legendary pianist Martha Argerich and attended a Masterclass under the guidance of Maestro Dario Ntaca in Saint Gallen.

During the concert, both Thien Sang and Loc Anh performed classic works of world classical music including A. Vivaldi - Summer Op.8 No.2 in G minor: Allegro Non Molto; Chopin - Ballade no. 1 in G minor, Op. 23; Chopin - Scherzo no. 1 in B minor, Op. 20; D. Shostakovich - Waltz no. 2; Chopin - Ballade no. 3 in A-Flat Major, Op. 47; JS Bach - Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit See less.
