On the morning of May 3, Venerable Tinh Tue, Head of the Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Da Lat City, said that with the consent of the People's Committee of Da Lat City and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Lam Dong Province, the Executive Committee of the Da Lat Buddhist Sangha is preparing many meaningful activities to celebrate the Vesak 2025 - Buddhist calendar 2569.

The opening of the series of programs is on May 4th, the Buddha procession ceremony will start from Linh Quang pagoda to the Thuy Ta campus. On the same day, from around 6pm to 9pm, the Dalat Buddhist Sangha will organize the lighting ceremony of 7 giant lotus platforms on Xuan Huong lake in the Thuy Ta campus. At the same time, on May 4th, the Buddha procession art program will take place from 6am to 8am.
On May 10, there will be a ceremony to recite the Dharmachakra Sutra, perform a ritual to release animals, award scholarships, and share charity gifts at the Thuy Ta campus. On May 11, from 7:00 a.m., the 2025 Buddha's Birthday Ceremony will officially take place and a flower car parade will take place at many times on several routes for two days (May 11 and 12) starting from Linh Quang Pagoda, Linh Son Pagoda, and Quan The Am Pagoda. Previously, on May 3, the Da Lat Buddhist Sangha also organized a catechism exam for male and female Buddhists at Lam Dong Buddhist College.

According to the records of the past few days, Buddhists are busy completing the final preparations to welcome the 2025 Vesak Festival. Master Tinh Tue added that this year, in addition to launching 7 giant lotus platforms on Xuan Huong Lake, the Da Lat City Buddhist Sangha also made 3 large flower boats and will complete them to release on the lake on May 4. In addition, at the Thuy Ta stage, there will be more statues of Buddha Shakyamuni entering meditation and Nirvana. The programs in the official Buddha procession will be organized on a larger scale to welcome the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival, which will be held for the 4th time in Vietnam.
