Da Nang announces list of projects exempt from construction permits.

The Da Nang Department of Construction has just announced the list of works and projects that are exempt from construction permits according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 56 of the Railway Law No. 95 and Clause 2, Article 89 of the Construction Law (amended and supplemented, effective from July 1, 2025).

Accordingly, projects whose feasibility studies have been assessed by specialized agencies and are located in areas with approved 1/500 scale detailed planning or urban design will not require a construction permit.

The investor only needs to submit the commencement notice and design documents to the state management agency for monitoring, while fully complying with regulations on land, fire safety, environment, etc.

In phase 1, there are projects eligible for exemption from permits, with a total capital of nearly VND 5,564 billion, including: Landcom's housing project in Tuyen Son area; Da Nang marina; Thuy Tu villa area (phase 2); hotel on Hoang Ke Viem street; and the apartment-commercial complex of Hai Hanh Company.

In addition, 23 other projects with a total investment of over VND 21,584 billion are being reviewed to determine eligibility for exemption from permits, including many large projects such as: Phu My An Apartment Complex (Regal Group); Phuong Trang townhouse complex; New Town villas; Riverside Tower (The Royal Da Nang); Hoa Quy - Dong No riverside villa complex (Dia Cau)...
