According to the Da Nang Hotel Association, during the opening night of DIFF 2026 and the subsequent fireworks nights, accommodation establishments in the coastal area of Da Nang recorded positive results. Occupancy rates ranged from 85-95%.

Located on the Han River, the Courtyard by Marriott Danang Han River hotel has seen a surge in demand from tourists for accommodation, fireworks viewing, and dining during the fireworks displays. Guests can watch the fireworks live from several rooms or via the buffet area on the 45th floor.

Ms. Thai Thi Thu Thuy, Director of Sales and Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott Danang Han River, said that the hotel was almost fully booked for the opening night on May 30th, and the remaining nights of the festival achieved an occupancy rate of over 70%.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, Director of Fivitel Da Nang, said that the rapid increase in room bookings has been confirmed since the beginning of May, mostly from families and groups. Occupancy rates on Saturday (May 30th) and Sunday (May 31st) reached 100%. Occupancy rates on weekends in June and July exceeded 90%.

At the Hilton Da Nang hotel, guests can enjoy dinner at the restaurant on the 28th floor with a direct view of the fireworks display area, family buffets, or watch the fireworks from their luxury rooms. Based on current booking data, the hotel predicts that the nights of DIFF 2026 will continue to have very high occupancy rates, possibly even reaching full capacity as in previous years. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Commercial Director of Hilton Da Nang, said that tourist demand is concentrated strongly on the days of DIFF 2026, especially on weekends.

"We remain optimistic that the fireworks displays will play a leading role in driving demand, ensuring high occupancy rates and creating momentum for growth across the entire market during this peak season," Ms. Hoa shared.

At Furama Resort Da Nang, occupancy rates during this period are promising, at around 85-95%. Domestic tourists are expected to increase by nearly 20% compared to 2025, thanks to the appeal of DIFF 2026, the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF), and other cultural and tourism events in June and July. Looking at the broader picture, booking rates for intervening dates are trending slower compared to the same period last year. This clearly reflects a trend: tourists are increasingly focusing on the main experience of the event, with shorter stays and more selective timing.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, General Director of Furama Resort Da Nang, said that the resort has observed a continued positive balance between domestic and international tourists. International tourists have clearly returned, while domestic tourists, especially families, leisure travelers, and those combining leisure with event attendance, tend to book rooms earlier.

From the perspective of the Chairman of the Da Nang Hotel Association, Mr. Quynh stated that the large number of international tourists visiting Da Nang during this period is a very positive sign for the city's hotel industry to continue its strong recovery, enhance its competitiveness, and affirm Da Nang's position as a leading festival and resort destination in the region. "We expect DIFF and the series of summer festivals to continue to be important highlights, contributing to increasing the number of tourists visiting Da Nang, especially international tourists," Mr. Quynh expressed.
