Da Nang auctions 10 public cars, some cars start at only 14.7 million VND

(QNO) - The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a decision approving the starting price to re-auction 10 surplus public cars, with the lowest starting price of only 14.7 million VND and the highest price of more than 470 million VND.

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, these vehicles are passenger cars, cars, and trucks manufactured from 1997 to 2012, mainly used for public work in the past.

Specifically, the Hiace passenger car (Toyota) manufactured in 2002 has the lowest starting price of over 14.7 million VND. Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz E300 car manufactured in 2009 (original price of over 2 billion VND) has a starting price for auction of over 470 million VND.

In the above auction list, there are 4 expired passenger cars and 3 flooded cars (flooded in October 2022), including a 1998 Toyota Camry, with a starting price of over 87 million VND. All prices listed above do not include value added tax.

According to the project to merge Quang Nam province and Da Nang city, after the merger, the total number of public cars of the two localities is 760, of which Da Nang city has 470 cars and Quang Nam province has 290 cars.
