On the morning of May 25th, in Da Nang City, the Market Access Workshop ahead of the Da Nang Venture and Angel Investment Forum 2026 (DAVAS 2026) officially opened, bringing together many high-ranking leaders, regulatory agencies, investment funds, technology companies, and strategic experts from both domestic and international backgrounds.
The event took place against the backdrop of Da Nang accelerating the construction of the Vietnam International Finance Centre (VIFC) and shaping its role as a center of innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.

This year's program features the participation and networking of numerous investment networks, technology companies, and international organizations from Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, the Russian Federation, and the BRICS region, reflecting the growing international interest in the city's innovation ecosystem and strategic development direction.
In his opening remarks at the workshop, Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, stated that investors are most concerned about the quality of the business environment, the feasibility of implementation, the quality of human resources, the capacity for innovation, and the supportive spirit of the local government. These are precisely the foundations that Da Nang is focusing on building in its new development strategy.
“ Da Nang understands that international investors today are not just looking for a location to set up an office or implement a project. More importantly, they are looking for the potential for long-term cooperation, the ability to connect with the ecosystem, the level of substantive support, and confidence in the local development direction,” Mr. Buu shared.
During the dialogue session, delegates focused on key issues such as: Da Nang's strategic positioning in the regional and global context; policies and conditions to support international investors; the practical implementation capacity of the technology and innovation ecosystem; conditions for sustainable growth and cross-border cooperation; and practical perspectives from international businesses and organizations operating in Vietnam.

According to Ms. Le Thi Thuc, Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Department of Science and Technology, today's discussions went beyond simply introducing potential and cooperation opportunities. They delved into core issues that determine the competitiveness of a modern ecosystem, such as: infrastructure quality, high-tech human resources, practical implementation capabilities, international operational capacity, policy environment, and conditions for sustainable long-term business development.
The Market Access Workshop, held ahead of the Da Nang Venture and Angel Investment Forum 2026 (DAVAS 2026), is envisioned as an annual strategic dialogue and networking platform between Da Nang and the international investment, technology, and innovation community during the city's new development phase.
