
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism , in the first four months of 2024, the number of South Korean tourists visiting Da Nang reached over 636,000 (accounting for over 41% of Da Nang's total international tourists); the number of Japanese tourists reached over 47,500 (accounting for 3.3% of Da Nang's total international tourists).
These two markets are among the top 10 largest international tourist markets for Da Nang since the beginning of the year.
At the meeting, tourism businesses contributed many ideas and solutions to better welcome and serve Korean and Japanese tourists in the future, such as: giving vouchers as gifts to tourists who return to Da Nang multiple times, organizing themed tourism products suitable for the Korean and Japanese markets, etc.

According to the leaders of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the Da Nang tourism industry will soon launch a campaign to show appreciation to tourists from the South Korean market to attract them to return; seek out new locations in these two markets for promotion and advertising; and create suitable products to target, such as MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourists and school students from the Japanese market.
In 2024, the Da Nang Department of Tourism plans to participate in the Tourism Expo in Tokyo (Japan); in the third quarter of 2024, it will coordinate with the Da Nang Tourism Association and tourism businesses in Da Nang and Quang Nam to welcome Japanese Famtrip delegations to survey golf tourism and educational tourism; in 2024, it will also organize a working meeting with tourism partners in Seoul (South Korea) and a program to introduce Da Nang tourism in Busan...
