On October 5th, the Da Nang City Department of Health announced the recruitment of 142 doctors under a talent attraction policy to work at 17 public health facilities.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 31st. Eligible applicants include doctors with a PhD or Level 2 specialist degree, no older than 50; resident doctors, masters degree holders, or Level 1 specialist doctors, no older than 40; and general practitioners, no older than 30.
Da Nang will provide a one-time subsidy to applicants at the following rates: PhD holders will receive 200 times the basic salary, Level 2 specialist doctors will receive 180 times the basic salary, resident doctors will receive 150 times the basic salary, and masters and Level 1 specialist doctors will receive 120 times the basic salary.
Da Nang is recruiting over 140 doctors and is ready to provide hundreds of millions of dong in subsidies.
Furthermore, top-performing general practitioners receive a subsidy of 100 times the basic salary, good-performing general practitioners receive 80 times the basic salary, and average-good general practitioners receive 50 times the basic salary.
This is equivalent to doctors receiving between 90 and 360 million VND in subsidies depending on their qualifications (calculated based on the 2023 base salary).
The Da Nang Department of Health is committed to assigning and utilizing candidates in their respective specialties, while also creating a favorable working environment to foster their abilities. Furthermore, candidates will be considered for planning and appointment to leadership and management positions.
Applicants must commit to working long-term at public health facilities in Da Nang for five years or more. During this time, they must comply with work assignments and secondments as prescribed. In case of breach of contract, they must reimburse the support costs.
