Provincial People's Council representatives meet with voters in Phu Thuan commune.

On the morning of June 2nd, Group No. 9 of the Provincial People's Council, including Nguyen Van Dung - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; Pham Thanh Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Phuoc commune; Bui Thi Huyen Trang - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Tri commune; Huynh Thanh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tien Thuy commune, along with leaders from several provincial departments and agencies, met with voters in Phu Thuan commune before the mid-year regular session of the 2026 People's Council.

Group No. 9 of the Provincial People's Council representatives met with voters in Phu Thuan commune.

At the meeting, representatives from Group 9 of the Provincial People's Council presented a summary of the results of the first session and the first specialized session of the 11th Provincial People's Council (which reviewed, discussed, and approved 2 reports from the Provincial People's Committee, 4 verification reports from the Provincial People's Council Committees, and 21 resolutions); and outlined the expected content and program for the mid-year regular session in 2026, including: reviewing the report on the socio-economic development situation in the first six months of the year and the tasks and solutions to be focused on in the last six months of 2026; reports as required by law and the expected review of 22 reports and 1 announcement from the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; reviewing, discussing, and approving 58 resolutions on issues related to the economic-budgetary sector, social security, national defense and security, organizational structure, administrative reform, etc. The session is expected to take place at the end of June 2026.

Voters in Phu Thuan commune raised their concerns at the meeting.

After hearing the reports, voters in Phu Thuan commune raised suggestions related to benefits for those who worship martyrs and meritorious individuals; dredging of inland irrigation canals; investment in key transportation projects in the area such as: An Hoa lock, national defense dike, embankment along the Cua Dai river, maintenance of An Hoa bridge; electrical grid safety during the rainy season, domestic water supply, and the lack of investment in office buildings for some units; security lighting on rural roads; bringing the Phu Thuan Industrial Park into operation soon; medical examination and treatment under health insurance cards, etc.

The opinions and suggestions of voters were addressed and clarified by local leaders and provincial departments and agencies.

Speaking at the meeting with constituents, Provincial People's Council representative Nguyen Van Dung highly appreciated the contributions of the voters, stating that these opinions were very relevant to reality and consistent with the overall development of the province and localities, especially regarding key projects and works on transportation infrastructure. At the same time, Provincial People's Council representative Nguyen Van Dung provided further information on many issues, contents, programs, and projects that the province will implement in the coming time for the constituents to understand.
