Accordingly, it is expected that in 2026, the school will maintain the three admission methods: direct admission (3%); admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam with four subject combinations A00, A01, D01, D07; and combined admission.
Direct admission is applied to students who win third prize or higher in national or international student excellence competitions; or first prize in national or international science and technology competitions.

For the method of evaluating high school graduation exam results, the school still uses the same 4 subject combinations as last year, including: A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English), D01 (Mathematics, Literature, English), and D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English).
The combined admission method is for three groups of candidates.
Group 1 consists of students with international certificates such as SAT scores of 1200/1600 or ACT scores of 26/36 or higher.
Group 2 consists of candidates with a minimum score of 85/150 on the HSA aptitude and thinking assessment, 700/1200 on the APT, or 60/100 on the TSA. Candidates can apply based on their independent test results or in combination with international English certificates such as IELTS 5.5 or higher, TOEFL iBT 46, or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 785, S 160, W 150).
International English language certificates are converted into points as follows:

Group 3 consists of candidates with an English certificate combined with high school graduation exam scores in Mathematics and one other subject besides English from the university's admission subject combinations: Literature, Physics, and Chemistry.
Regarding tuition fees for the 2026 academic year, the projected tuition fee for the standard program is approximately 20-28 million VND per academic year, an increase of 2-3 million VND compared to 2025.
Tuition fees for advanced, high-quality, application-oriented (POHE) programs taught in English will range from approximately 45-70 million VND per academic year, an increase of 4-5 million VND compared to 2025.
Besides maintaining the enrollment of 73 majors as in 2025, the National Economics University plans to enroll students in several new majors/training programs in 2026. It is understood that the university will announce detailed information on the new majors and enrollment quotas before February 15, 2026, after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the regulations and guidelines for 2026 admissions.
