Highlights in the 2026 enrollment plan of the National Economics University

On October 31, National Economics University held a conference Summary of regular university enrollment work in 2025.

Master Hoang Thanh Ha, member of the Admissions Committee, Department of Training Management, said that in 2025, the National Economics University had 9,158 candidates admitted through the national virtual filtering system, 8,858 candidates officially enrolled, reaching a rate of 96.7%.

To continue to maintain and develop the quality of enrollment, the National Economics University has made a detailed plan for enrollment in 2026.

Specifically, phase 1 will start from October to December, with the construction of the initial orientation and enrollment plan. By March 2026, the enrollment plan will be officially announced. The next phases include enrollment counseling (January-June 2026), receiving application documents (May-June 2026), running the enrollment process (June-July 2026), and confirming enrollment before August 15, 2026.

Regarding admission methods, in 2026, the National Economics University plans to maintain 3 admission methods: direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; combined admission for candidates with international certificates or results of capacity/thinking assessment tests and admission based on high school exam scores in 2026, with 4 subject groups A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English); keeping the enrollment scale stable.

One of the highlights in the 2026 enrollment plan of the National Economics University is the research to open a number of new training programs and streamline detailed enrollment methods in accordance with the regulations and new guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training.
