The Minister of Education and Training has decided to recognize Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thu Huong, Vice Principal of Foreign Trade University, as Principal to replace her predecessor, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, who retired according to the regime.
Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong, born in 1977, originally from Kien Xuong, Thai Binh (now Hung Yen), is a former student of the 34th course majoring in Foreign Economics at the Foreign Trade University. She graduated from university majoring in Foreign Economics in March 2000.
She then graduated with a master's degree in economics from Aarhus University (Denmark) in 2004 and received a doctorate in economics from Foreign Trade University in 2012.
She was awarded the title of associate professor in 2019.

With nearly 30 years of experience at Foreign Trade University, Ms. Huong has also held key positions such as Head of Planning and Finance Department, Head of Training Management Department, Vice Principal for the 2015-2020 term, member of the School Council, and President of the School Union.
Thus, the Board of Directors of Foreign Trade University currently has Principal Pham Thu Huong and 2 Vice Principals, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien and Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien. The Chairwoman of the Board of Foreign Trade University is Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy.
