For the academic transcript-based admission method, the school uses the average score of 4 subjects over 6 semesters of high school, with mathematics, literature, and English being mandatory, and the remaining subject depending on the major. The maximum admission score is 40.
As a result, the three majors – marketing, English language, and maritime science – all had the highest GPA cutoff score of 30 among the 45 majors. In particular, the English language major required applicants to have a score of 7 or higher in English, while the other two majors required a score of 6.
These three majors also led in the admission scores based on the aptitude test organized by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, with 700/1200 points; including English scores of 120-130. The remaining majors all required scores above 600 points.
