With the motto: Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development, the Congress of grassroots trade unions; trade unions of communes and wards; trade unions of high-tech parks and industrial parks in Hanoi city need to discuss and approve the summary report of trade union activities in the past term; decide on targets, directions, tasks and solutions for the next term.
The Congress gives opinions on draft documents of the Congress of the Trade Union at a higher level; synthesizes recommendations from union members and workers on issues related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers and trade union activities; gives opinions on amendments and supplements to the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; elects and appoints the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for a new term and key positions; and delegates to attend the Congress of the Trade Union at a higher level (if any).
The Capital Trade Union notes that for grassroots Trade Unions and Trade Unions that do not meet the conditions to organize a Congress and are approved by the Hanoi City Labor Federation, a conference of delegates, a conference of all union members or an expanded Executive Committee conference will be organized to review the implementation of activities in the past period, propose directions, tasks and targets for the new term; contribute comments on documents of the Congress of the Trade Union at a higher level; carry out personnel work for the Executive Committee and delegates to attend the Congress of the Trade Union at a higher level (if any).
The 18th Congress of the Hanoi City Trade Union includes the following contents: Discussing and approving the report of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation, term XVII, 2023 - 2028, submitted to the 18th Congress of the City Trade Union; deciding on targets, directions, tasks and solutions for the term 2025 - 2030.
Giving opinions on the draft documents of the Vietnam Trade Union Congress. Giving opinions on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union. Electing the Executive Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation, term XVIII, 2025-2030. The Trade Unions of communes, wards, Trade Unions of High-tech Parks and Industrial Parks of Hanoi city will hold Congresses and complete them before October 31, 2025. The grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions, member grassroots trade unions, and departmental trade unions will hold Congresses and complete them before December 15. The official Congress time is no more than 1 session, and it is encouraged to be linked with the summary of the 2025 Trade Union work of the unit or enterprise.
The 18th Congress of Hanoi City Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030, will be completed before December 31, 2025.
