Specifically, on October 2, Hoan Kiem Ward Police coordinated with Market Management Team No. 2 ( Hanoi Market Management Department) to inspect a truck with license plate 29D-219.xx parked at house number 16, Ly Nam De street, showing suspicious signs.
Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle contained nearly 4,000 foreign-made moon cakes. The owner of the shipment, PXM (born in 1980, residing in Ha Dong ward, Hanoi), was unable to present any documents related to the cakes.

Working with the authorities, PXM confessed that he bought the moon cakes floating on the market for about 19 million VND, with the intention of selling them for profit, but was discovered before he could sell them.
All of the violating goods and related subjects were brought to the headquarters of Market Management Team No. 2 for further investigation, verification, clarification and handling according to the provisions of law.
