The 12th Congress of the Party Committee of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company

Over two days, March 20-21, the Party Committee of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company successfully held its 12th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This was one of the units selected by the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee to hold a model congress.

According to the report presented at the Congress, during the 2020-2025 term, Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company simultaneously carried out several important tasks, including: concluding open-pit coal mining, completing underground production items, finalizing the investment project for the construction of underground mining facilities, and implementing the open-pit mine closure project.

These tasks were carried out under challenging conditions, as the company faced numerous obstacles due to the complete technological transition from open-pit to underground mining, complex geological conditions within the mines, and difficulties in recruiting underground miners. Furthermore, the early stages of the term were significantly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and Typhoon No. 3 ( Yagi ) in 2024, which greatly affected production.

Under the guidance of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee, the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group , and the local government, the Nui Beo Coal Party Committee seized the opportunity and favorable conditions to focus on directing cadres, Party members, and workers throughout the company to achieve significant results. These included coal sales of 9.17 million tons, reaching 101% of the plan; revenue of 14,528 billion VND, reaching 105% of the plan; and average income of 16.73 million VND per person per month. Notably, the profit target reached 325.5 billion VND, equivalent to 192%.

Although the planned mine tunnel length for production did not meet the target due to objective conditions, with proper balancing and management, the company was still able to prepare sufficient resources for mining operations in a timely manner.

The Executive Committee of the Company's Party Committee, 12th term, was introduced at the Congress.

During the 2025-2030 term, the Company's Party Committee has set the goal of continuing to overcome difficulties and striving to achieve a designed capacity of 2 million tons of coal per year by 2026; fulfilling the targets of: excavating 69,300 meters of tunnels; mining 10 million tons of coal; achieving revenue of over 13 trillion VND; profit of 175 billion VND; and average salary of over 22 million VND per person per month.

The Congress elected the Company's Party Committee Executive Board for the 12th term, 2025-2030, consisting of 17 members. Comrade Doan Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Company, was re-elected as Secretary of the Party Committee.
