Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Tong Phuoc Truong delivered a speech directing the congress.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the commune's economy continued to develop well, with an average annual growth rate of 8.05%; the production value in the area reached 1,685 billion VND. The total capital mobilization in the area reached 1,510 billion VND. People's lives continued to improve, with average income per capita reaching 82.8 million VND, an increase of 29.6 million VND compared to the beginning of the term; the poverty rate decreased to 2.8%.
Speaking at the congress, comrade Tong Phuoc Truong requested the Go Quao Commune Party Committee to continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, especially the role of the leader; consolidate the solidarity and unity within the Party Committee, promote democracy along with maintaining strict discipline; strengthen inspection, supervision, and fight against corruption, waste, and negativity.
To improve the capacity of management and administration of grassroots government, comrade Tong Phuoc Truong requested Go Quao commune to promote comprehensive digital transformation in the activities of Party agencies, government, Fatherland Front, socio- political organizations, health, education, and promote the development of digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
The Go Quao Commune Party Committee focuses on implementing four breakthroughs: investing in developing key economic zones; building the Go Quao Trade Center and Soc Ven Market; developing trade and services along the Ho Chi Minh Road; expanding the market for agricultural, forestry, fishery products, goods, and traditional industries; creating jobs and contributing to increasing people's income.

In the field of culture and society, comrade Tong Phuoc Truong suggested that the Party Committee of Go Quao commune focus on building cultural life in residential areas; preserve and promote the value of traditional festivals and typical local culture, build Go Quao people to develop comprehensively, affectionately and friendly. Mobilize all resources well to continue to maintain local sustainability, improve the quality of new rural commune criteria, no more poor households; effectively implement social protection policies and universal health insurance. Proactively prevent and combat all types of crimes and social evils, ensure political security, social order and safety.

Comrade Ho Minh Hai was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Go Quao Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
