The 1st Tan Phong Ward Party Congress, term 2025

Comrade Vu Manh Ha - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented a flower basket to congratulate the Congress.

Attending the Congress were comrade Tong Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Doan Ket Ward Party Committee; representatives of provincial departments and branches, and 156 official delegates representing more than 2,000 party members of 77 party organizations under the Tan Phong Ward Party Committee.

Tan Phong Ward Party Committee was established according to Decision No. 1833-QD/TU, dated June 9, 2025 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the basis of merging 5 commune and ward Party Committees ( Tan Phong Ward, Dong Phong Ward, San Thang Commune of the old Lai Chau City and Ban Giang Commune, Nung Nang Commune of the old Tam Duong District).

During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Phong ward have achieved many comprehensive results in all areas of socio-economics, national defense - security, Party building and the political system. Notably, the economy continued to recover and gradually develop well, the main economic indicators met the set plan; average income per capita reached 59 million VND; the poverty rate decreased to 1.7%. Up to now, the ward has 36 cooperatives and more than 2,400 production and business establishments. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue reached nearly 3,000 billion VND. During the term, the ward Party Committee has also strengthened the construction of the Party organization and improved the quality of Party members; effectively implemented the model of "4-good Party Cell", "4-good Grassroots Party Committee"; and admitted 152 new Party members.

The first Tan Phong Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, sets the goals: Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; mobilizing and effectively using resources to focus on developing trade, services, tourism and agricultural production towards high quality. Promoting digital transformation, administrative reform, improving the investment and business environment. The Congress affirms the determination to strongly innovate the leadership methods of the entire Party Committee; promoting potentials and advantages; preserving, conserving and promoting cultural values, fine traditions of ethnic groups, striving to build Tan Phong Ward into a green, clean and beautiful urban area.

With high consensus, the delegates voted to pass the Resolution of the first Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 with 9 main targets; 33 groups of tasks, key solutions and 2 strategic breakthroughs to create a clear mark, bringing the ward to develop quickly and sustainably in the new period.

In the discussion at the Congress, many enthusiastic opinions of Party cells and Party members focused on groups of issues: Improving the quality of Party cell activities, solutions to create sources of Party members; applying science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; improving the quality of service to the People at the Ward Public Administration Service Center; urban planning...

Comrade Vu Manh Ha - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee delivered a speech at the Congress.

Recognizing and congratulating the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tan Phong ward in the past term, comrade Vu Manh Ha - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee proposed that the Party Committee of Tan Phong ward in the 2025 - 2030 term focus on building a clean and strong Party and political system. Maximize the different potentials, outstanding opportunities and competitive advantages of the locality to create a breakthrough in socio-economic development. Tan Phong ward must take the lead in socio-economic development, creating a driving force to promote other localities to develop together. Promote administrative reform, create a favorable environment to attract investment, create maximum conditions for business households, small and medium enterprises to start up, expand production and business in the spirit of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development. Along with that, focus on developing tourism products associated with preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural identities of ethnic groups, creating highlights to attract tourists.

The Executive Committee of Tan Phong Ward Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term was introduced to the Congress.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to appoint the Ward Party Executive Committee consisting of 35 comrades, the Ward Party Standing Committee consisting of 11 comrades; to appoint the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee; and to appoint the Ward Party Inspection Committee consisting of 5 comrades. Comrade Mua A Tru was appointed to hold the position of Ward Party Secretary for the 2025-2030 term.

Delegates voted to pass the Congress Resolution.

The Congress also announced the list of delegates to attend the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, including 8 comrades, and voted to pass the Congress Resolution.
