At the conference, authorized by the Minister of Public Security , Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ninh Thi Minh Hoa - Head of the Personnel Organization Department (PX01 - Provincial Police) announced the decisions of General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security, including: Decision No. 4131/QD-BCA dated May 26, 2025 on retirement from work from June 1, 2025 for Major General Rah Lan Lam; Decision No. 4247/QD-BCA dated May 26, 2025 on assigning Colonel Pham Huu Truong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, to be in charge of the Provincial Police from June 1, 2025 until there is a Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police.
At the conference, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich presented flowers to congratulate Major General Rah Lan Lam and Colonel Pham Huu Truong.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Rah Lan Lam emotionally shared: “Today, when officially saying goodbye to my duty, I feel a little regretful, but above all, I feel deep gratitude and strong faith in the next generation. Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich acknowledged and highly appreciated the dedication of Major General Rah Lam Lam throughout his years of service. At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized: Currently, from the Central to localities across the country, the reform of the state administrative apparatus is underway. Particularly for the Public Security force, the whole country has abolished the District-level Public Security to focus on the grassroots level. The tasks in the coming time are determined to be extremely heavy. Therefore, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that in his position as Deputy Director in charge of the Provincial Public Security, Colonel Pham Huu Truong will join all the leaders of the Provincial Public Security, officers and soldiers in the entire unit to join hands and overcome all difficulties to excel in completing the tasks assigned by the Party Committee, the government and the people of the province.
On this occasion, the Provincial Police Department announced the decision to end the secondment and wait for retirement for Colonel Ho Hai Tan - Deputy Head of the Internal Security Department (Department PA02); at the same time, they handed over the decision to retire and presented flowers to 14 department-level leaders of the Provincial Police Department. The Provincial Police Department also announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the promotion of 4 comrades to the rank of Senior Lieutenant Colonel; and the promotion of 60 comrades to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain, Senior Lieutenant, Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant.
The provincial police also announced the decision of the provincial police director on promoting ranks and raising salaries for 1,054 comrades in the entire provincial police force.
