Colonel Tran Hong Minh holds the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department.

The Ministry of Public Security has decided to transfer Colonel Tran Hong Minh, Deputy Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police, to the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police.

Today (March 10th), the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security regarding personnel matters.

Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, presided over the ceremony. Also present were Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and representatives from various units and departments.

Accordingly, the Minister of Public Security has issued a decision to transfer Colonel Tran Hong Minh, Deputy Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police, to take up the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police.

Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security to Colonel Tran Hong Minh.

Mr. Nam stated that the decision to transfer Colonel Tran Hong Minh demonstrates the Ministry's leadership's concern for the Ho Chi Minh City Police leadership, aiming to strengthen and enhance leadership and direction within the Ho Chi Minh City Police force.

Colonel Tran Hong Minh stated: "This is an important event in my professional life, marking a new turning point, a new challenge, but also a great opportunity." He pledged to do his utmost, together with the leadership and officers of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, to fulfill the assigned tasks.

Colonel Tran Hong Minh, born in 1976, is from Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City. He holds a Master's degree in Law and a Senior Certificate in Political Theory.

Mr. Minh is an officer who rose through the ranks of the Ho Chi Minh City Police force, having held positions such as: Deputy Head of the Road and Rail Traffic Police Department (now the Traffic Police Department - PC08) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police; Deputy Head and then Head of the Waterway Traffic Police Department (PC08B, now PC08) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police; Head of District 3 Police; and Deputy Director of Tra Vinh Provincial Police.

Ho Chi Minh City Police announce new operational structure.

The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security regarding the dissolution of district and county police departments, as well as the Thu Duc City Police Department; and also announced decisions related to the new operational structure.

The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department receives assignments from various departments and agencies of the city.

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department requested that all units promptly receive, organize, and implement assigned tasks without interruption, ensuring that normal operations and the rights of citizens and businesses are not affected.
