During the recent historic flood, Hoa Thinh commune was one of the hardest-hit areas, with 25 deaths, 4,820 houses submerged, and 96 houses completely destroyed. Crops and much of the people's property were severely damaged.

Mr. Le Quang Ngay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoan Hao Medic Ban Me Co., Ltd., said that the recent floods caused severe damage to many people in eastern Dak Lak . Many families lost everything, making healthcare very difficult. Therefore, the company wants to ensure the health of the people so that they can gradually stabilize their lives. The team, consisting of 8 specialist doctors and 2 pharmacists, is expected to provide free medical examinations, treatment, and medication to 1,500 people in the flood-affected areas.

Dr. Nguyen Dai Phong, former Director of the Central Highlands Regional General Hospital (head of the medical team), said that during the examinations, many patients suffered from acute diarrhea; dermatological conditions; eye and ear-nose-throat problems; respiratory illnesses, etc. The doctors examined and prescribed medication for the patients. In addition, patients with underlying conditions were advised to seek specialized treatment.


In addition to providing free medical examinations and treatment, the delegation from the Dak Lak Provincial Police also visited, offered condolences, and presented 31 gifts to the families of victims who died in the recent floods in Hoa Thinh and Hoa My communes.
