Dak Lak: Free medical examination and treatment for thousands of households in the "flood center" area

On December 1, the Office of the Criminal Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police coordinated with Hoan Hao General Clinic (Hoan Hao Medic Ban Me Company Limited) to organize free medical examination and treatment for people in Hoa Thinh commune (Dak Lak province).

In the recent historic flood, Hoa Thinh commune was one of the localities that suffered heavy damage, including 25 deaths, 4,820 houses submerged in water, 96 houses completely collapsed. Crops and many properties of the people were severely damaged.

Doctors examine the health of people in Hoa Thinh commune

Mr. Le Quang Ngay, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hoan Hao Medic Ban Me Co., Ltd. said that the recent flood has caused heavy damage to many people in the East of Dak Lak . Many families are left with nothing, so health care will be very difficult. Therefore, the company wants to ensure the health of the people so that they can gradually stabilize their lives. The group has organized 8 medical specialists and 2 pharmacists, expected to examine, treat and provide free medicine to 1,500 people in the flood-affected areas.

Doctor Nguyen Dai Phong, former Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital (head of the medical team) said that through examination, many patients suffered from acute diarrhea; dermatology; eye and ear-nose-throat; respiratory... Doctors examined and gave medicine to patients for treatment. In addition, patients with underlying diseases were advised for intensive treatment.

In addition to free medical examination and treatment, the Dak Lak Provincial Police delegation also visited, expressed condolences and presented 31 gifts to the families of victims who died in the recent flood in Hoa Thinh and Hoa My communes.
