Flexibility in handling
Dak Nong province currently has 6 key projects. Of these, 2 projects are included in the list of projects celebrating the 20th anniversary of the province's re-establishment.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, Director of the Dak Nong Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the unit is directing contractors to focus human resources, materials, and equipment to implement and organize construction.
However, the projects are currently facing difficulties related to mechanisms, policies, and planning. While awaiting the resolution of these issues, the Project Management Board requests that contractors focus on constructing the items and works that are progressing smoothly.

At the conference on solutions to promote public investment held on the afternoon of April 25, 2023, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong province, Le Van Chien, emphasized: "We must be flexible in the implementation process. We need to prioritize funding for projects and items where land is available."

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that departments, agencies, and localities boldly and flexibly apply solutions. Projects that can be implemented should be carried out. Avoid a situation where all projects wait for planning approval, as this will delay construction time.
Focus maximum effort on land clearance.
Land clearance is the biggest "bottleneck" in the construction of key projects. Resolving this issue will allow for the rapid progress of subsequent project construction phases.

To resolve this issue, the Provincial People's Committee holds weekly meetings with local authorities every Friday to discuss and address the problem. Provincial leaders also pay special attention to conducting numerous on-site inspections to accurately assess the progress, difficulties, and obstacles of the projects.
Among the key projects, Gia Nghia City bears significant responsibility for land clearance. At a meeting with Gia Nghia City on land clearance in March 2023, Vice Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen emphasized the need for investors, departments, the Gia Nghia City People's Committee, and the wards where the projects are located to coordinate smoothly and closely.

“The units should sit down together to resolve difficulties and obstacles. For issues beyond their authority, the units should proactively report to the Provincial People's Committee for prompt resolution,” directed Le Trong Yen, Vice Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee.
At the conference on solutions to promote public investment held on the afternoon of April 25, 2023, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong province, Ho Van Muoi, emphasized that disbursing over 95% of the planned capital for 2023 would be very difficult.
"Without determination, decisiveness, and collaboration, nothing can be achieved. The only way is to ensure that all stages operate together as quickly as possible," emphasized Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong province.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong province instructed the chairmen of districts and cities to review the obstacles currently being encountered in order to discuss and find solutions together.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment is tasked with listening, reviewing, and advising localities on the best solutions to address issues related to the shortage of embankment materials and conflicts with bauxite mining planning.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment, in coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade, organized a meeting with the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Corporation (TKV) regarding the planning map. Local authorities and units proactively completed all relevant documents and procedures for related projects so that they could begin work immediately once the provincial plan was approved.
The six key projects in Dak Nong include: the Dao Nghia - Quang Khe Road Project (Phase 2); the Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital Upgrade Project; the Gia Nghia City Central Square Project; the relocation and resettlement project for 212 households in the central area of Gia Nghia City; the Gia Nghia Lake Project; and the Dak Nong Provincial Museum, Library and Park Complex Project.
