Ensuring projects are completed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

Comrade Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to complete the project to repair the Provincial Stadium no later than March.

The Provincial Stadium Repair Project has so far reached 85% construction progress. Some items have been completed, such as: athlete housing, training house, security house, etc. Some items are under construction, such as: Office building, stand A, stand A1, B, C, D and some equipment items are waiting for approval for adjustment and addition.

For the project to repair and upgrade Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu Primary School, there are 3 construction packages. Up to now, package 1 has reached an estimated volume of 52%; package 2 has reached 80% and package 3 is about 42%. Construction units and investors are making efforts to speed up the progress, ensuring the completion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

The Provincial Guest House Project has so far completed an estimated 55% of its construction volume, ensuring the progress committed to the investor. Currently, the construction unit is implementing flooring, wall cladding, fire protection systems, water supply, drainage, air conditioning and ventilation systems, etc., and implementing the construction and installation of equipment packages.

For the Provincial Guesthouse, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do requested completion no later than March 31.

Dynamic road project, currently the implementation of site clearance is very slow, not ensuring the set progress, especially in packages 4, 5 and 6 in Dien Bien Phu city. Up to now, the project has only approved 163/315 households and 142/147 graves, corresponding to the total approved area of 58.5%. Of which, package 4 reached 28.4%; package 5 reached 88.9% and package 6 reached 55.5%. The reason is that the work of verifying the origin of the land is difficult; households and individuals due to previous purchases, gifts, and transfers are not in accordance with the law; some land use right certificates are not in accordance with reality...

Through on-site inspections of the projects, Comrade Le Thanh Do requested the investors, construction units and localities where the projects are located to strengthen coordination, remove difficulties and obstacles, speed up construction progress to put the projects into service in time for the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; along with progress, it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of the works. For the project to repair the Provincial Stadium, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested the construction units to coordinate with the construction units to focus on human resources and materials to speed up the construction progress, renovate the field surface to make it flat; to complete by March 2024 at the latest. For the project to repair and upgrade Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu Primary School, the Project Management Board of civil and industrial works and construction units were requested to strengthen coordination, focus on human resources, work overtime, and increase shifts to speed up the progress and quality of the works, striving to complete and hand over by March 20.

For the Provincial Guest House Project, it must be completed by March 31 at the latest. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to urge contractors to speed up the progress of supplying equipment packages, ensuring synchronization in the overall construction process of the project. For the construction unit, rearrange the work reasonably, increase shifts, increase shifts to speed up the progress; focus on fire prevention and fighting items.

With the dynamic road project, the investor and related localities need to focus on coordinating, directing, and accelerating the progress of site clearance; focusing on human resources, machinery and equipment to work overtime, striving to complete the project on schedule. Difficulties and problems related to mechanisms and policies during the implementation process must be promptly reported to the province.
