Accordingly, Dong Nai School Equipment and Books Joint Stock Company and Binh Phuoc School Equipment and Books Joint Stock Company are supplying textbooks in the old areas, because Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces previously selected different textbooks.
The replacement of textbooks according to the 2018 General Education Program has been completed since the 2024-2025 school year. Therefore, from the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, there will be no new textbooks, but all reprints. Dong Nai School Equipment and Books Joint Stock Company is implementing a plan to supply textbooks to the Dong Nai province market with about 5 million newly purchased books.
Up to now, the company has imported almost all new books, combined with a large number of spare textbooks available in the warehouse before, will be enough to meet the shopping needs of parents and students before the new school year begins. Currently, the company has released nearly 3.5 million copies to the market (reaching 70% of the plan), and at the same time, it is forecasted that the demand for textbooks will continue to increase sharply in the coming time.
One notable point is that in 2025, there will no longer be a textbook price stabilization program like in previous years. Parents and students can still easily buy textbooks at local agents and bookstores. In addition, parents can register to buy textbooks at the schools where their children are studying as every year. After receiving orders from schools, the company will pack the books according to the registration and deliver them to the schools.
Regarding textbook prices, Mr. Vo An Ninh said that the cover prices of the textbooks Creative Horizon, Connecting Knowledge with Life of the Vietnam Education Publishing House and the textbooks Canh Dieu of the Vietnam Education Publishing and Equipment Investment Joint Stock Company have been reduced in 2024. However, there are still some books reprinted in 2025 that continue to be reduced in price, after the publishing units have minimized production costs.
Parents only need to buy the correct and complete set of textbooks according to the regulations in the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training and according to the requirements of the school. At the same time, they should choose to buy textbooks at reputable agents or bookstores to avoid buying fake books or pirated books that may appear on the market.
