Effective mass mobilization in Quang Yen

In recent times, the "Effective Mass Mobilization" emulation movement has been actively directed and implemented by Quang Yen town.   in all areas of the economy, culture, society, security, national defense, and political system building.   Much ​  The model has been implemented and has yielded positive results.

In 2024, Quang Yen town had 32 units and agencies registering 138 "Effective Mass Mobilization" models. These models closely followed the year's work theme and the specific tasks of the agencies, units, and localities, possessing innovative characteristics and widespread impact.

Neighborhood 2, Yen Giang Ward (Quang Yen Town) mobilized and encouraged residents to contribute funds to install a trellis for flowers and provide sports and recreational equipment at the cultural center park.

For example, in Yen Giang ward, to meet the needs of the people and effectively utilize the activities at neighborhood cultural centers, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee has developed a model of "Skillfully disseminating information and mobilizing officials, union members, association members, and the people to effectively exploit, manage, and utilize neighborhood cultural centers in Yen Giang ward." In coordination with the Ward People's Committee, mass organizations, and neighborhoods, they have implemented solutions to ensure the effective use and exploitation of these cultural centers; this includes calling for investment and support from the people, agencies, and businesses to purchase equipment and facilities to serve the activities of the neighborhood cultural centers.

Through these efforts, the community was mobilized to socialize the installation of 16 air conditioners at the cultural centers of areas 1, 2, 3, and 4, costing over 180 million VND; the community contributed funds to purchase televisions, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, and furniture for the cultural centers of areas 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, with a total mobilized amount exceeding 200 million VND; the courtyards of the cultural centers in areas 1, 3, and 4 were tiled with over 1,200 square meters, costing over 300 million VND; further efforts were made to promote and encourage community contributions for the installation of LED screens at the cultural centers of areas 1, 3, and 6, totaling over 350 million VND; and socialized funding was mobilized for mural painting, the construction of flower trellises, and the provision of sports and recreational equipment at the cultural center park in area 2...

The installation of LED screens effectively serves the activities of the neighborhood in Yen Giang ward (Quang Yen town).

Also in 2024, the People's Committee of Yen Giang Ward developed a model of "Skillfully mobilizing the people to implement comprehensive digital transformation." Through this, they successfully mobilized 96% of the people to switch from 2G to 4G SIM cards; achieved 100% cashless fee collection at the Reception and Results Delivery Department via QR code scanning; achieved 89.5% online payment through the national public service portal; and implemented cashless payments for pensioners, social welfare recipients, and meritorious individuals in the area, reaching 89.7%, 86.4% for social welfare recipients, and 87.6% for pensioners. To date, the ward has conducted online meetings with all neighborhoods… With these results and achievements, the ward was honored to receive a commendation from the Provincial People's Committee for outstanding achievements in the "Skillful People's Mobilization" emulation movement.

In Lien Hoa commune, the Youth Union developed a model of "Skillfully mobilizing people to contribute to the construction of anti-drowning railings along the environmental canal in Hamlet 1," thereby mobilizing people to contribute 75 million VND to build a 120-meter-long anti-drowning railing system. Cadres and people in Hamlet 1 also developed a model of "Skillfully disseminating information and mobilizing cadres, Party members, and people to contribute funds and labor to build rural roads and develop new rural hamlets," thereby mobilizing people to contribute money and donate land totaling 352 million VND to renovate and upgrade a 326-meter-long, 3-meter-wide concrete alleyway in the hamlet. These models have truly spread, mobilized all resources from the people, and have been replicated in other localities.

For example, the Women's Union of the town, with its model of "Skillfully mobilizing officials, members, women, and philanthropists to help members from near-poor households and members with particularly difficult circumstances," continues to spread the "Godmother" program among all levels of the Women's Union in the area. In 2024, the Women's Union of the town continued to sponsor two more children, bringing the total number of sponsored children to 28. The total funding for support in 2024 was 106.8 million VND. At the same time, the Women's Union of the town also did a good job of giving gifts to children on Children's Day, the new school year, etc., with a total budget of 64.2 million VND; connecting with philanthropists to visit, encourage, and support 223 near-poor households of women members with difficult circumstances with a total amount of 310 million VND.

Through the implementation of the "Effective Mass Mobilization" emulation movement, Quang Yen town has strongly encouraged and promoted the people's right to self-governance in the area. The work of disseminating information and mobilizing the people has been effective and in-depth; many Party guidelines and State policies and laws have been implemented effectively and have received the people's support, contributing to the successful implementation of the local economic , cultural, social, security, and defense development tasks.
