Attending the congress were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; leaders of the Party Committees of several communes and 118 official delegates.
Quan Son commune was established on the basis of merging Quan Son commune and Huu Kien commune of the old Chi Lang district. Currently, the commune Party Committee has 29 Party cells with 449 Party members.
During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee and People of Quan Son commune have been united, proactive, and creative in leading and directing the effective implementation of socio- economic development, national defense and security tasks.
During the program, delegates focused on discussing the results achieved, limitations, analyzing the causes; on that basis, clarifying the lessons learned, and at the same time proposing and recommending solutions to continue to successfully implement the set goals and tasks.
Also at the congress, delegates heard the announcement of the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing the Party Executive Committee (26 comrades), the Party Standing Committee (9 comrades), the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Lo Minh Hong (formerly Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the old Chi Lang District Party Committee) was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Quan Son Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the congress, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements that the Party Committee and people of Quan Son commune have achieved in the past term.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he emphasized that the Party Committee of Quan Son commune will continue to promote propaganda and dissemination work to raise awareness among cadres, party members and people about the tasks of socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security, building the party and the political system in the new situation; focusing on exploiting the strengths of agriculture and forestry, developing cooperative models associated with concentrated, high-tech agricultural production, building brands of key products; at the same time, strengthening land management, environmental protection, relic management associated with tourism development, gradually forming a tourism industry with local identity...
He also noted that the Quan Son Commune Party Committee continues to build a streamlined government that operates effectively and efficiently; improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members; effectively implement the grassroots democracy regulations, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; take care of building the organization, innovate the content and methods of operation, create consensus among the people in implementing policies, laws, and contribute to the successful completion of the commune's development goals.
At the congress, delegates discussed and voted to approve the report synthesizing comments on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 18th Provincial Party Congress; and voted to approve the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
