On the morning of January 9 (December 10, Giap Thin year), commemorating the 796th birthday of King Tran Hung Dao (1228-2024), the Management Board of the Tran Hung Dao Temple Historical and Cultural Relics held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the national hero at the Tran Hung Dao Temple in Nha Trang. Attending the ceremony were representatives of government leaders, fronts at all levels and a large number of people and students.

At the ceremony, the Temple Management Board held a prayer opening ceremony to pray for national peace and prosperity, and performed a traditional ritual; delegates offered incense and flowers in memory and together reviewed the merits of the national hero Tran Hung Dao. Accordingly, the national hero Tran Hung Dao, whose real name is Tran Quoc Tuan, with his outstanding military talent, led the Dai Viet army to defeat the Yuan-Mongol invaders three times in the 13th century. The most famous was the historic Bach Dang Giang battle, demonstrating the patriotism, will, determination and skillful military art of our ancestors.

The historical and cultural relic of Duc Tran Hung Dao Temple in Nha Trang City was built in 1962, initiated by the North Vietnam Friendship Association. This is the address for people to worship Duc Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan with a sincere heart, thereby contributing to educating the national moral traditions to the people through many generations. Previously, on January 8, the Temple Management Board also held an incense and flower offering ceremony at Duc Thanh Tran statue in Bach Dang Park (Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City).
