Due to the impact of storm No. 10 from September 28-30, Son La province experienced heavy rain causing damage to people, property, infrastructure and agricultural production.

With the eternal moral tradition of "the whole leaf covers the torn leaf, the less torn leaf covers the more torn leaf", the spirit of mutual love, mutual affection, and compatriotism, each cadre and party member of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee shared and encouraged people in the flood-affected areas to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize the situation soon, and continue to build their lives. Along with that, they shared and supported the grassroots cadres so that all work of the commune-level government could go smoothly.

The amount of money that the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee called for and contributed will be transferred to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters in the fastest time.

Immediately after the support program, the Provincial Party Committee organized the opening of the first political theory training course for new party members, term 2025 - 2030, for 52 new party members who are probationary party members of party cells and grassroots party committees under the Provincial Party Committee and party cells and party committees outside the Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Van Tai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, delivered the opening speech of the training course.

In order to help new party members improve their awareness, political capacity, be steadfast with the Party's goals and ideals, creatively apply the knowledge they have learned to practical work and life, strive and train to become official party members of the Communist Party of Vietnam. During the period from October 6 to 14, trainees participating in the training course will study 10 topics according to the regulations of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, on: Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought; ideological foundation, compass for the actions of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution; national independence associated with socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam; promoting the strength of great national unity, socialist democracy, building and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state; the Party's socio-economic development guidelines; Developing education and training, science and technology, building and developing Vietnamese culture and people, protecting the environment and managing social development; strengthening national defense and security, firmly protecting the Fatherland, maintaining a peaceful environment, ensuring political stability, social order and safety; proactively and actively integrating internationally; principles of organization and operation of the Party and Party building work at the grassroots level; strengthening building and rectification; striving and training to be worthy of being a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

At the end of the course, students will write a report as a basis for evaluating their learning outcomes. Based on the evaluation results, the Provincial Party Committee will issue a certificate of completion of the political theory training program for new party members and consider rewarding students who have shown a high level of learning and achievement.
