A series of meaningful activities

At the launching ceremony area, the Digital Literacy Program took place with many practical activities such as providing important information to young people and people on the following topics: Overview of digital transformation and its impact on social life; safe use of smart electronic devices, identification and prevention of online fraud .

In addition, the program also organized booths to support people in installing QR codes and providing instructions on how to use online public services. At the same time, free medical examination, consultation and medicine distribution activities for 500 people and workers in difficult circumstances were also implemented, contributing to taking care of community health.

After the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee established 5 working groups to respond to activities in many localities in the province with a series of projects and tasks of practical significance.

Notably, in Ben Luc district, the working delegation led by alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union - Bui Quang Huy, carried out many meaningful activities in An Thanh and Thanh Phu communes.

At Go Dung Primary School (An Thanh Commune), the Delegation presented a bookshelf for children worth 50 million VND, combined with giving a map to the school's Board of Directors and gifts and milk for the students.

In addition, the Delegation also visited, started the repair and concrete of the yard of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother Truong Thi Chang (An Thanh commune); at the same time, encouraged the volunteer youth team to participate in the project. In addition, the Delegation visited and presented 32 gifts worth 20 million VND to the disadvantaged youth workers at the boarding house (Hamlet 4, An Thanh commune).

Ms. Hoang Thi Hop (born in 1989), from Dak Lak province, is currently a worker and lives in a boarding house in Ben Luc district. When the Youth Union cared for her and gave her gifts, she was very touched and considered this a source of encouragement to continue to strive to improve in life.

The working group also organized the inauguration and handover of the Youth Sports Space project - Recharging and Energizing Youth at the Thanh Phu Commune Cultural - Sports and Community Learning Center. This project contributes to creating conditions for youth to have a place to practice sports, improve health and connect the community.

Under the leadership of Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Youth Union - Nguyen Tuong Lam, the working delegation participated in many meaningful activities in Ben Luc town, Luong Hoa and An Thanh communes (Ben Luc district).

In Ward 3, Ben Luc town, the Delegation carried out the Mural Road project with a length of 50m, height of 2.5m. The paintings on the fence along Le Van Vinh street not only beautify the landscape but also convey messages about traffic safety, drug prevention and environmental protection. In addition, the Delegation started the construction of a Friendship House worth 80 million VND in alley 8, Ward 6, Ben Luc town to support members and youth in difficult circumstances.

In addition, on the North bank of Rach No hamlet, Luong Hoa commune, the Youth Union also planted 300 trees, contributing to creating green space and protecting the environment.

Community Oriented

Responding to the activities after the Youth Month Launch Ceremony 2025, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union also organized the donation and inauguration of the Youth Road project Bright, green, clean, beautiful in Tan Tru district.

The Huynh Van Ky road project (Binh Tay hamlet, Tan Binh commune) has a total length of 900m, with 35 solar-powered lamp posts installed. With a total cost of 100 million VND, the project not only helps people move more conveniently at night but also contributes to building the rural landscape, promoting local socio-economic development.

In addition, the Central Youth Union also held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a Friendship House for Party member Nguyen Tuan Khanh (Binh Dong hamlet, Tan Binh commune), who is facing housing difficulties.

Mr. Khanh shared that his family's circumstances were difficult, the old house was seriously degraded but he did not have the conditions to rebuild it. With the Central Youth Union's support of 80 million VND to build a new house, he was extremely touched and grateful for being able to "settle down" and have more motivation to strive to "make a career".

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut presents gifts to students with difficult circumstances who excel in their studies.

In Can Giuoc district, the delegation organized the inauguration and handover ceremony of the Youth Union project “ Lighting up the Countryside Roads ” on the inter-hamlet road, Phuoc Lam commune. The project has a total length of 1.5km with 40 lamp posts installed, each 4.5m high, 20m apart, contributing to ensuring traffic safety. Within 20 days, 50 Youth Union members and local people joined hands to complete the project, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and responsibility for the community.

The delegation also launched the project of Bright, Green, Clean, Beautiful, Safe Road on Duong Thi Ngoc Hoa Street, Thuan Nam Hamlet, Thuan Thanh Commune, Can Giuoc District. The project was carried out throughout the district with a total length of 18km, with a length of 1.2km in Thuan Nam Hamlet alone.

The project includes the installation of 12 solar-powered lamp posts, 32 propaganda panels, and 30 national flags. In particular, the Youth Union members personally painted the lamp posts, decorated and numbered the routes, contributing to creating a lively highlight, raising awareness of environmental protection and preserving rural beauty.

After 15 days of implementation, with the participation of 40 Youth Union members and local people, the project was completed and put into use. In recognition of these meaningful contributions, the Central Youth Union Secretariat presented gifts of encouragement to the Youth Volunteer Team participating in the construction of the project.

At the Cultural - Sports and Community Learning Center of Tan Tap commune (Can Giuoc district), the Central Youth Union coordinated with sponsors and local leaders to present 20 water tanks, 20 study corners and 20 Nguyen Thai Binh scholarships to students and people in difficult circumstances.

Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - Tran Hai Phu said that the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2025 in Long An not only marked the beginning of a series of practical activities but also affirmed the determination and enthusiasm of young people in the journey of contributing and building the homeland to develop day by day.

Meaningful activities in response to Youth Month 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese youth are proud and firmly believe in the Party" contribute to building new rural areas, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. The works and tasks carried out by the youth have strongly spread the spirit of volunteering, joining hands to beautify the homeland, contributing to building the locality to become increasingly prosperous./.
