The imprint of Ho Chi Minh City - continuing to write a glorious epic.

On the evening of February 2nd, at the Reunification Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, amidst the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the New Year, celebrating Spring, and celebrating the Party; the agencies including the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese - Ministry of Foreign Affairs , and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City jointly organized the Spring Homeland 2024 program with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City – Continuing to write a glorious heroic epic".

The program, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for the Commemoration of Major Holidays, carries profound significance, demonstrating the concern of the Party, the State, and the people of Vietnam for overseas Vietnamese who always look towards their homeland.

The artworks express love for the homeland and country in a springtime setting filled with affection, especially the love of people from the South for their compatriots throughout the country and overseas Vietnamese.

Attending the program were Mr. Vo Van Thuong, Member of the Political Bureau, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and his wife; Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Mr. Do Xuan Chien, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Prime Minister; along with leaders of the Party and State, former leaders of the Party and State, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and central ministries and agencies, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities.

In particular, the presence of 1,500 overseas Vietnamese from all over the world is a very special event in the program, further highlighting the love for their homeland Vietnam, strengthening the bonds of national unity, including overseas Vietnamese working together for a prosperous Vietnam.

The participation of artists from all three regions of Vietnam and overseas Vietnamese singers in the program is a unique and significant addition to the vibrant artistic scene in Ho Chi Minh City during the celebration of the Year of the Dragon 2024.

Artists such as People's Artist Bach Tuyet, People's Artist Quoc Hung, People's Artist Thanh Thuy, People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, singers My Linh, Dam Vinh Hung, Vo Ha Tram, overseas Vietnamese singers including Evis Phuong, Bich Tra, Nguyen Khac Hoa and many other distinguished artists, singers, beauty queens, models… created a spectacular and impressive program.

Director Tran Vi My, with her skillful staging, has cleverly blended elements of national culture with modern values, applying many advanced theatrical technologies to create a high-class artistic program that leaves a deep impression on the audience.

The Spring Homeland Program 2024, with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City – Continuing the Glorious Epic," has truly become an important and meaningful event, contributing to a spring full of joy and happiness as the whole country welcomes the Year of the Dragon 2024.
