The mark of Ca Mau's youth in 2025

The year 2025 marks a vibrant and comprehensive period of activity for the youth of Ca Mau in all fields. From political ideal education to community action movements, youth union members have left many distinct marks, affirming their pioneering and creative role in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

The province currently has 48,909 Youth Union members, 381,128 young people, and 271,417 Young Pioneers and children. In 2025, the Youth Union, Youth Association, and Young Pioneer organizations at all levels will proactively understand the thoughts, needs, and aspirations of young people; promptly care for, support, and protect their legitimate rights and interests, especially those of children in difficult circumstances. The work of educating revolutionary ideals and fostering awareness of socialism will continue to be emphasized, contributing to helping Youth Union members and young people clearly define their responsibilities to their homeland and country.

The revolutionary action movements were vibrant.

With the theme " The Youth of Ca Mau are proud and steadfast in following the Party," the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union identified four key tasks, eleven basic targets, and many specific solutions, implementing them synchronously from the beginning of the year. Youth Union activities and youth movements have been vibrant and effective, clearly demonstrating the unwavering commitment to the Party, pride in the achievements of their homeland and country, and the determination of Ca Mau's youth in participating in building and protecting the Fatherland and building a strong Party.

Throughout the year, the youth of Ca Mau province launched numerous revolutionary action movements and programs to support union members, association members, and young people through specific projects and tasks, with a total expenditure of over 25 billion VND. Particularly noteworthy was the Youth Volunteer movement, with a series of meaningful and practical projects and tasks that attracted a large number of young people and effectively mobilized social resources.

During Youth Month alone, youth union branches at all levels donated 44 "Houses of Compassion" as part of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; provided gifts and scholarships, built playgrounds for young people; and organized the distribution of free medicine to people and children in difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 900 million VND. More than 900 youth union members participated in building house foundations for poor households and repairing rural roads.

A team of young volunteers assisted in transporting building materials for disadvantaged households as part of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Vinh Loi commune.

Environmental protection efforts were implemented simultaneously in 100% of the units, including propaganda activities, clearing bushes, cleaning up over 20 km of roads; collecting and processing approximately 5 tons of waste, contributing to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

Embracing technology, supporting and mentoring young people.

In response to the "Popular Education Movement," youth union branches at all levels in the province organized 450 activities, attracting more than 15,000 union members and young people, and distributed over 17,000 informational leaflets. They maintained 64 volunteer youth teams for community digital transformation, directly assisting people in installing and using electronic payment applications, and promoting the "Market 4.0 - Cashless Payment" model. Simultaneously, they coordinated with the police and social insurance forces to promote and guide people in installing the VNeID and VssID applications.

Simultaneously, support for young people in starting and developing businesses continues to receive attention. Youth union branches at all levels have coordinated to help young people access preferential loans from the National Employment Fund (Fund 120) of the Central Youth Union, and entrusted funds from the Social Policy Bank; effectively implementing models to support poor youth union members through capital support, providing plants and livestock, training in the application of science and technology, and participating in the "One Commune, One Product" program. Through these efforts, 12 youth startup loan projects have been supported.

Youth union members and young people carried out the "Flowering Electric Pole" project in Bac Lieu ward, contributing to the beautification of the urban landscape.

Propaganda work and the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation continued to be strengthened. The two special pages, "Green Bamboo of Ca Mau" and "Green Cape," published and shared 190 news articles, attracting over 1.7 million views, more than 18,000 reactions, 11,200 shares, and 13,300 comments; promptly disseminating official information and effectively refuting false and hostile viewpoints on the internet.

According to Provincial Youth Union Secretary Pham Tuan Tai, the achievements are thanks to the close attention and guidance of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Central Youth Union Secretariat; and the close coordination of departments, agencies, and mass organizations. The Provincial Youth Union's leadership always focuses on the grassroots level, constantly innovating the content and form of propaganda, applying digital transformation, and linking youth movements with the socio-economic development tasks of the locality.

The outstanding achievements in 2025 not only reflect the determination and efforts of the Youth Union but also serve as vivid evidence of the sense of responsibility and the aspiration to contribute of the youth of Ca Mau. With pride and unwavering faith in the Party, the youth of the province will continue to affirm their pioneering and creative role, working together to build an increasingly developed Ca Mau.
