By investing in 1,000 new container shells, VIMC Lines is strengthening its operational capacity.

In order to proactively enhance operational capacity and improve the quality of logistics services, VIMC Container Transport Joint Stock Company (VIMC LINES) has just signed a contract to supply 1,000 new container shells with Hoa Phat Shipping Joint Stock Company (VTB Hoa Phat). This is an important step in the strategy to strengthen operational capacity and better meet the increasing demand for goods transportation domestically and internationally.

On May 22, 2025, in Hanoi, VIMC Container Transport Joint Stock Company (VIMC LINES) held a contract signing ceremony for the supply of container shells with Hoa Phat Shipping Joint Stock Company (VTB Hoa Phat). This important event marks a new step in VIMC LINES' efforts to realize its strategy of increasing operational capacity and optimizing the quality of container transport services.

According to the signed agreement, VIMC LINES will invest in a total of 1,000 new container shells, including 500 20-foot DC containers and 500 40-foot HC containers. All of these containers will be manufactured and supplied by VTB Hoa Phat, a company with extensive experience, capabilities, and a strong reputation in container manufacturing in the Vietnamese market.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, a representative of VIMC LINES emphasized: “The simultaneous investment in 1,000 new container shells demonstrates our strong commitment to enhancing operational capacity and increasing the efficiency of our supply chain. This is also a necessary step to ensure stable and reliable service provision for domestic and international customers. At the same time, the cooperation with VTB Hoa Phat reflects our strategy of choosing a long-term partner for mutual development and benefit.”

On behalf of VTB Hoa Phat, the company's leadership expressed their deep appreciation for VIMC LINES' trust and committed to ensuring timely delivery while maintaining product quality according to VIMC LINES' technical requirements. Becoming a container supplier for VIMC LINES also opens up opportunities to expand market share and affirm VTB Hoa Phat's position in the field of manufacturing equipment for maritime transport.

According to the plan, the first batch of containers will be delivered from June 2025, in time for operation during the peak season serving domestic and international customers.
