Promoting the application of digital technology in business

(ABO) On April 22, in Long Thuan ward, Go Cong city, the Women's Union of Tien Giang province organized a training course on community communication to guide the application of digital technology in business and inform about the start-up results of successful models in the province - under the Project "Supporting women to start a business" for the period 2017-2025 (referred to as Project 939).

The training course had about 100 officials and women's union members from the districts: Go Cong City, Tan Phu Dong, Go Cong Dong and Go Cong Tay. At the training session, delegates were instructed by representatives of the Department of Science and Technology, officials of the Provincial Women's Union on the application of digital technology in business activities, sales technology, digital marketing skills, marketing, how to write product promotion content, livestream sales; customer care, creating product information on QR codes....

The women participating in the training also boldly exchanged knowledge and experience as well as learned a lot of useful content, effectively applying it in selling and promoting products on digital platforms.

Speaking at the training session, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union Nguyen Thi Kieu Tien said: 2025 is the final year of Project 939, and also the year to summarize the period 2017 - 2025. Therefore, the activities of the year, especially the propaganda and guidance on the application of digital technology today are even more important, demonstrating the efforts, determination and companionship of the Union at all levels in continuing to create a strong influence for the women's start-up movement in the province.

Representatives of the Department of Science and Technology and officials of the Provincial Women's Union trained on practical instructions for applying digital technology to business activities.

For Tien Giang province, Project 939 is not only a correct and timely policy, but also a great source of motivation, empowering thousands of women in the province to firmly step on the journey of starting a business, mastering the economy, and mastering their lives.

More than 732 women have been supported to start their own businesses - 3.5 times higher than the set target; 13 cooperatives and 15 cooperative groups led by women have been established and developed sustainably, creating jobs for hundreds of female workers; 56 business skills training classes and more than 320 vocational training classes have been organized, helping nearly 10,000 women improve their capacity and skills in the process of starting a business.

Notably, up to now, 100% of the Association's bases have applied digital technology in propaganda as well as Association activities; forming 19 women's groups with 4.0 technology.

The Women's Union at all levels has organized hundreds of festivals and start-up competitions, with more than 1,100 business ideas (including 1 project winning a national award).
